Yummy Fluffy Pancakes

It’s the weekend, the best thing about the weekend is food, real breakfast, lunch and dinner, as opposed to the quick snacks we eat everyday at work. Today I was in the mood for yummy fluffy pancakes, and I don’t like out of the box pancakes, I like the ones I make from scratch so much better, when you prepare the batter the smell in the kitchen is just amazing. If you love Pancakes & Waffles pancake, you’ll love this recipe.

Ingredients:

3/4 cup milk

2 tablespoons white vinegar

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 tablespoon sugar

1 1/2  teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 tablespoons melted butter

How-to:

put the vinegar in the milk and let it sit for 20 minutes to become sour

in a bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt

mix the soured milk, vanilla, egg and melted butter

pour flour ingredients into wet ingredients and whisk until all lumps are gone

in a large skillet over medium heat allow butter to melt (to avoid stickiness)

pour 1/2 cup batter into skillet and cook until bubbles appear on the surface

flip with spatula and cook until golden/brown on the other side

I love pancakes with maple syrup, but you can also try pancake syrup, whipping cream and strawberries, powder sugar, or chocolate syrup.. Let me know what you think..
